Ocean Park Hong Kong announced on August 11, 2026 that its "Giant Panda Adventure" (大熊猫之旅) pavilion will extend its opening hours, accommodating the summer wave of visitors eager to see the park's six giant pandas.
The extension comes amid surging public interest in Hong Kong's panda family, which now includes the locally born twins Ga Ga (加加) and De De (得得), along with Ying Ying, Le Le, An An, and Ke Ke. The summer panda birthday celebrations and the twins' second birthday (August 15) have drawn large crowds to the park.
The extended hours give both local residents and tourists more flexibility to visit the pandas, reinforcing Ocean Park's role as one of Hong Kong's top family attractions and a key partner in giant panda conservation education.
