Meng Yuan (梦圆), studbook #1213, is a male giant panda born on September 1, 2019 at Berlin Zoo. He and his twin brother Meng Xiang (梦想, 1214) were the first giant pandas born in Germany. Their parents Meng Meng (梦梦, 868) and Jiao Qing (娇庆, 824) arrived in Berlin in 2017. Named at a 100-day ceremony, Meng Yuan returned to China on December 17, 2023 and now resides at the Chengdu Research Base.
