Ai You (Chinese: 艾佑) is a male giant panda born on August 10, 2017, at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. He is officially registered in the global giant panda studbook under number 1060, and routine health monitoring confirms he remains in good physical condition as of current public records. His lineage traces to two captive giant pandas housed at the same facility: father Jin Ke (studbook number 1053) and mother Ke Jiu (studbook number 1054), both of whom are part of the Chengdu Research Base’s long-term conservation breeding population.

Since birth, Ai You has resided permanently at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where he is cared for under the facility’s standardized giant panda management protocols. His daily routine includes a species-appropriate diet primarily consisting of fresh bamboo and supplementary nutrient-rich feeds, regular habitat enrichment activities designed to encourage natural foraging and movement behaviors, and scheduled veterinary health checks to track his growth and physiological status.
