Her daughter Duo Wei (朵蔚) was the first panda cub born outside China to survive in captivity. Ying Ying and Bei Bei are memorialized with a monument at Chapultepec Zoo. Her granddaughter Xin Xin (欣欣) is the last panda in Latin America.
