Life Journey

On September 26, 2007, Shi Shi was sent to Huainan Zoo in Anhui for exhibition.

The Huainan Fever Incident

On October 22, 2007, Shi Shi developed a sudden high fever. The zoo联合 (jointly collaborated) with Huainan First People’s Hospital and the Wolong Panda Research Center for emergency treatment. After a week of intensive care, his temperature returned to normal on October 29, and he resumed eating.

He was later sent to Benxi Zoo in Liaoning on June 8, 2010, before returning to Chengdu in 2012.

Shi Shi died on July 9, 2014 at approximately 16 years of age.
