Yun Duo Da Zai

Basic Profile

Yun Duo Da Zai (Chinese: 云朵大仔, “Yun Duo’s older cub”), studbook number 1065, is a male giant panda born on June 3, 2017 as the elder twin of the litter of Yun Duo (云朵, studbook 810) — herself born 2011-07-08 at Hetaoping, daughter of Xi Xi (茜茜). His younger twin sister is #1066 (小仔, female). The sire is not recorded on this site.

⚠️ Number correction (2026-09): #1065 previously held a contradictory template stub page named “Xue Bao (雪宝)” (two conflicting birth dates, unsourced parentage) — deleted. The famous “Xue Bao (雪宝, the叉腰/“hands-on-hips” panda of Shanghai Wild Animal Park)” is an entirely different bear: studbook #1117, born 2017-10-04, sire Wu Yang, dam Si Xue (#625). Per Baidu Baike’s Yun Duo entry (very high credibility, updated 2026-05-22), #1065 = Yun Duo’s 2017 elder son. The famous “Xue Bao (雪宝, the “hands-on-hips” 叉腰 panda of Shanghai Wild Animal Park)” now has his own page: Xue Bao (雪宝, #1117).

✅ Verdict (2026-09): #810 = Yun Duo (云朵), confirmed. Po (the Atlanta Kung Fu Panda namesake) is #801 — see A Bao (阿宝, #801); the duplicate Po page filed under #810 was deleted.

⚠️ Deceased (2018, provisional): Reported to have died as a cub with his twin sister in the 2018 canine-distemper outbreak at the Bifengxia nursery (record window 2018-02 to 2018-10) — the same incident that killed Ping Ping’s twins #1060/#1061. Baidu Baike lists both twins by name without a death record, so this status is provisional (存疑).
