Naming
On March 7, 2016, the twin cubs were officially named at a ceremony at Toronto Zoo attended by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. “Jia Yueyue” (加悦悦) means “Canada’s Joy,” symbolizing the happiness the cubs brought to Canada.
